I am so very happy that you found a match!!!! I have been following your story on your website ever since my sister Rupie told me about it a few weeks ago. I am Punjabi and was diagnosed with AML 3 years ago. I had five siblings and, thankfully, one match. My little sister, Seema, saved my life. My cancer journey and bone marrow transplant was a very public affair as I am a Membe of the Legislature in British Columbia, Canada. I am a former nurse and lawyer and am serving my third term of office. I have used my expericence to assist in raising awareness of the need for ethnic donors and am working closed with the Bone Marrow Donor Registry and Canadian Blood Services. I am so proud of you and your team. I want to wish you the very best and will keep you in my prayers. Having been through a BMT, I know the best thing you have going for you is your very strong spirit, your positive attitude, your supportive wife and family, and all your incredible friends!!! TWe are praying for the best possible results for you!
