It is really a wonderful news that you have found a donor. You have been in our prayers everyday since the day we found about your hospitalization. You do not know us but we certainly know who you are. Your (Vinay)parents very good friends Nagaraj and Krishna Kumari are also our very good friends. Rashmi (some one your parents know and who attended your wedding) are also good friends of ours.
We have registered to be donors. If a call comes we will leave everything and just go and help the person in need.

This is Premalatha. I met aunty n uncle few weeks ago at the NMDP drive at Komala Vilas, Sunnyvale, when I came in to get myself registered. I saw your dad talking to people asking them to register. It was so moving, that I decided to do my bit of vounteering. Ever since, I have been praying for you every single day.
You are so lucky to have such a good family backing you ... I can see how relieved and happy uncle, aunty and Rashmi should be. I am so very happy for you. Your case has created such a big awakening in the community. Your family left no stone unturned to help you out of this ordeal. They drew support from all walks of the society. Special mention should be made about all those who contributed to the noble cause.
My special words of praise for the donor who deserves all appreciation for having convinced his family as well, which is not a very easy thing either. Many can pray, some can pay, but when it comes to delivering only the tough get going. That way, he deserves all appalause.

You don't know us, but through your story we had a chance to volunteer at the PanIIT Drive here in Santa Clara,Ca and a chance to meet those who knew you. I met your mother and father and can just imagine what they must have felt like when they heard the news.

There is a Ribbon in my car that I had ordered for the other volunteers for the 2-day drive, and today a colleague who got a ride saw it and asked me if you had found a match yet, and I had no answer. Its amazing what can move mountains Vinay and Rashmi, a story, a call for help... and the chain reaction of people coming together.

I know the road ahead is long and arduous, but may the fruits of the obstacle you've just conquered get you through each day with positive results and a safe road to recovery.

I am so happy at this development. Vinay, I have never met you but I know your parents. Like you, I grew up in Fremont, went to Cal and am now a physician.
